'The blogosphere' for the undending hype of the year award.
The Times of India - for outstanding contribution to free speech and journalistic ethics award
Burkha Dutt NDTV
for doing a program on Women and Sports .
In it talking about how sad it is for women cricketers during the recent Ind-Eng International series (women's cricket).
And then when it comes to the sports schedule on their site for International Cricket on the days of these matches the message is "No match found for requested date "
:)) leave alone coverage of women's cricket coverage, when you do a program on them, then it looks dumb if you dont acknowledge women's international cricket as international cricket, in your website.
Cricket writers for assuming they are the centres of the universe; which in itself is an impossibility.
Pony Tail, Slimes, NDTV, and Dinamalar (remember the Park hotel incident? Exemplary journalism!)
